Doug and I were out in the pasture, enjoying the sun with the animals, when we heard a quick honk. Our neighbor was calling us over from the road.
Upon making our way over to her, she told us that her daughter had had three sheep. Two of them were recently killed by her neighbor's dogs, leaving one sheep terrified and all by herself. The neighbor asked if we would take her in to live with our sheep. Of course we would take her!
Sheep are herd animals. They feel safer with other sheep snoots and do not do well on their own. We learned that this sheep, now named Sybil Meriweather, kept breaking out of her previous yard to spend time with a neighbor's horse. She didn't want to be alone!
Now that she's here at Snoot Farms, she will live in peace with her new friends... who are clearly very curious about her. Check out the video below!
Thank you for sharing a part of you life with us. Your animals are so lucky :)
